Thin, highly efficient core with fin pitch of 6.4 mm and thickness of 36 mm
The idea that a “high-performance radiator” means “multi-layered and large” is now a thing of the past.
The core of the Kyoku radiator is a space-saving design with a fin pitch of 6.4 mm. With the same core area, this latest specification allows for nearly 1.5 times the water channels compared to conventional products (fin pitch of 9.6 mm to 10 mm).
The fins themselves have also evolved to increase the contact area with the tube, making them light, slim, two-layered with a core thickness of 36 mm, achieving the same capacity and heat exchange performance as three-layered fins.
Furthermore, the thin core reduces airflow resistance and improves ventilation in the engine compartment, which can get very hot. The cooling effect is greater than you would imagine.
