Takumi Project Rear Diffuser for GR86 (ZN8) / BRZ (ZD8) [Carbon/FRP]

Compatible models

・GR86 (ZN8)

・BRZ (ZD8)

<Exhaust system special design>
・HKS Spec LⅡ for left and right 2-pipe exhaust
・Extreme full titanium muffler (circuit spec) for left 1-pipe exhaust

It efficiently covers the lower part of the trunk where the airflow is most turbulent. It generates a certain amount of downforce despite its compact design. It is not easily affected by the shape of the member or muffler, and can be installed with a bolt-on system. We also have a lineup of FRP types with excellent cost performance.

Functional design that efficiently covers key areas of turbulence

The Takumi Project diffuser is a simple one-piece type. It completely covers the lower part of the trunk, which the OEM rear diffuser built into the bumper cannot cover, and provides reliable airflow control.

⬆︎Carbon (CFRP) type・Front

The material is high-quality carbon (CFRP) that shows off the craftsmanship of the craftsmen. The beauty and texture are so great that it seems a shame to put it on the bottom of the body where it is hard to see.

If you’re wondering about the weight, it’s only 1.945kg. The design keeps weight increase to a minimum.

Fins smooth the flow and the rear end is raised to increase the flow rate.

he plate suppresses turbulence, and the fins streamline the air. The rear end then raises the air flow, increasing the air speed and generating negative pressure to obtain downforce. Takumi Project’s diffusers have been developed with a focus on how to achieve these basic functions as efficiently as possible.

The airflow fins are designed with consideration for ground clearance and interference with car stops, so you don’t have to worry about them affecting the everyday usability of your car.

The back side is coated to prevent dust from adhering, preserving its beautiful appearance.

The drawback of carbon diffusers is that dust and dirt easily accumulate on the carbon fibers on the back side (the side facing the vehicle).

Takumi Project’s carbon diffuser has a special coating on this surface to prevent dust from adhering. It is less likely to get dirty, and can be cleaned up quickly when washing the car.

Installation is by bolting on using a special bracket. No drilling required.

Installation can be done quickly using the included special bracket.

Since it uses existing bolt holes, no drilling is required and there is no damage to the car.

The muffler fits many models, including genuine parts. The member side installation is also compatible with most specifications.
