The ultimate multi-performer, with the fun of being able to control it at will and the versatility to adapt to anything from circuits to winding roads.
- By newly adopting SRF (Super Response Fluid) and LVS (Low Vibration Spring), which are exclusive equipment for the Hypermax R, we have achieved a balance between performance and ride comfort on an unprecedented level.
- The FL5 is equipped with a highly sophisticated electronically controlled shock absorber, and while retaining the good qualities of the original, we aimed to further improve its sports driving performance and provide a more comfortable ride on the street than the comfort mode.
- The rear damping dial is positioned so that it is easy to adjust while wearing a helmet on the circuit.
- By using the latest spec parts, the damping adjustment dial has a large range of adjustment, allowing for a wide range of settings. In addition, despite being a sports model, it comes with a 2-year/40,000km warranty.
With suspension error canceller

*1. Height from the road surface to the fender arch.
*2. The vehicle height at the time of shipment is a reference measurement data based on the combination of the full kit settings made by HKS in-house. (This is our recommended vehicle height.)
*3. Adjustable range (However, please note that driving at the lower limit in this case will not comply with safety standards.
Also, even if it is within this adjustment range, depending on the vehicle height, interference with the body, arms, etc. may occur, which may cause problems with driving. Please note
that defects such as damper oil leakage caused by using the vehicle height at an extreme lowering from the vehicle height at the time of shipment are not covered by the warranty.)
*4. The range in which it is possible to drive without interference with the body, arms, etc. (However, this may not be the case depending on changes to tire and wheel sizes, etc.)
Note) Data may vary depending on individual vehicle differences and assembly conditions.

■ Points
The FL5 is equipped with a highly complete electronically controlled shock absorber, but when driving in a sporty manner, the stiffness of the rear and the high vehicle height cause instability.
Also, I was concerned about the fact that the stiffness of the rear is not removed even in the comfort mode for street use.
At HKS, we have improved the sports driving performance while retaining the good qualities of the original, aiming for a more comfortable ride than the comfort mode on the street.
The front and rear spring rates are high at 14 kg, but the combination of the detailed damper settings that we have researched for many years and the Low Vibration Spring has created a ride feel that cannot be achieved with the original.
ADVAN A052 265/35R18 The settings were made at the Fuji Speedway racing course.
The rear damping dial was placed in a location that makes it easy to adjust while wearing a helmet on the circuit.
The vehicle height at the time of testing is the value when the camber value was changed to the negative direction from the factory setting. Please note that the front tire and damper will come into contact with the original wheels.
*If the front winding is less than 46 mm with the original tire and wheel, the tire and suspension will interfere with each other near the handlebar lock. Please note that this will vary depending on the wheel rim width and offset.
