The ultimate multi-performer, with the fun of being able to control it at will and the versatility to adapt to anything from circuits to winding roads.
- By adopting the newly developed damper fluid “SRF” and high-strength spring “LVS” exclusively for HIPERMAX R, we have achieved a combination of high-level driving performance and ride comfort that has never been seen before.
- Respecting the original character of the GR86, we have set it up so that it will move like a stock FR car, even when equipped with high-grip tires, allowing you to have fun controlling the car.
- By actively utilizing the bump rubber that HKS has been researching for many years, it also creates a sense of firmness when cornering. It allows the tire to maintain a stable surface pressure without a sudden loss of grip.
- The circuit settings were performed at the Fuji Speedway racing course (with ADVAN A052 installed). When driving on this course, we recommend setting the damping adjustment dials to 5~10 for both front and rear.
- By using the latest spec parts, we are able to offer a two-year, 40,000km warranty on this sports model.

*2. The vehicle height at the time of shipment is a reference measurement data based on the combination of the full kit settings made by HKS in-house. (This is our recommended vehicle height.)
*3. Adjustable range (However, please note that driving at the lower limit in this case will not comply with safety standards.
Also, even if it is within this adjustment range, depending on the vehicle height, interference with the body, arms, etc. may occur, which may cause problems with driving. Please note
that defects such as damper oil leakage caused by using the vehicle height at an extreme lowering from the vehicle height at the time of shipment are not covered by the warranty.)
*4. The range in which it is possible to drive without interference with the body, arms, etc. (However, this may not be the case depending on changes to tire and wheel sizes, etc.)
Note) Data may vary depending on individual vehicle differences and assembly conditions.

■ Points
ADVAN A052 235/40R18 Tested at the Fuji Speedway racing course.
The GR86 has very good driving performance even in its stock state, but when high-grip tires are installed, the amount of roll is large, which makes it feel unsatisfactory for circuit driving.
HKS respects the original character of the GR86, and has set it up so that even with high-grip tires, it can move like an FR in its stock state, and you can enjoy controlling the car. We also checked
the behavior in track mode, so even beginners to the circuit can safely enjoy the behavior of an FR.
This is a deep damper that will satisfy both beginners to the circuit and advanced drivers aiming for a good time. You can experience the change in the car’s behavior with just one notch, so I think you will enjoy this one for a long time.
By actively utilizing the bump rubber that HKS has researched for many years, it also creates a sense of firmness when cornering. You can obtain stable tire surface pressure without suddenly losing grip.
For users aiming for a good time on the circuit, the front should be full camber with a toe out of about 0.5-1.0 mm, and the rear should be toe 0 to in of about 0.5 mm. We recommend a dial setting of about 5 to 10 steps front and rear.
If you feel that the rear stability is insufficient, we recommend installing an aftermarket arm that allows you to adjust the rear camber.
