Takumi Project GT Wing For WRX STI/S4

Developed with the theme of “optimizing downforce”, this Takumi-spec GT wing was released after numerous actual driving tests on the circuit. It has the right volume and aerodynamics to match commercially available cars. Two types of materials are available : H-CFRP and CFRP . A new type that can use the mounting holes on the trunk side of the genuine wing is also available!

Sophisticated design and functionality that matches the street

The development concept was the same as the bonnet, “the strongest specification for the street.” We have pursued the ultimate in design and aerodynamic performance that will match a wide range of customization styles and tuning levels.

In terms of size, the wingspan is increased by 30mm and the leg length by 20mm compared to the original wing, giving it a moderate upgrade feel. With a design stance unique to our master craftsmen that is “not too powerful,” we have given full consideration to drag, front and rear aerodynamic balance, and rear visibility.

There are two types of materials : H-CFRP (hard carbon) and CFRP (carbon).

he main wing is made of two materials: H-CFRP (hard carbon) , which is as light and strong as dry carbon , and standard CFRP (carbon). Both are high spec and suitable for circuit racing.

The leg length for the “Standard Mount Type” is 220mm. The “High Mount Type” which provides stronger downforce will be released with a 250mm setting.

The joint with the leg stay is equipped with an angle adjustment mechanism that allows fine adjustment of downforce.

The intricate craftsmanship extends to even the hidden parts

The leg stay bracket and trunk side mount are made of lightweight, high-strength aluminum alloy. (*Side mount is made of resin.)

The mounting mount is designed specifically for each vehicle model, with an angled rise that matches the shape of the trunk, allowing for smooth and proper setting.

The rubber that increases the adhesion between the mount and the trunk is also specially designed for each vehicle model. It prevents rainwater from entering through the bolt holes and also reduces damage to the trunk.
